SankerIP overcomes the frigid temperatures in New York to speak at ACI’s Life Sciences AI Summit

Prior to the main conference on February 20 and 21, the conference had two workshops to provide a little background on AI technology, and how AI is driving growth and efficiency in the Life Sciences. SankerIP founder David Sanker joined the morning workshop with Zheng Yang and James Boiani, and joined the afternoon workshop with Kevin E. Noonan and Donna Meuth.

Many of us have seen the growing role of AI in drug discovery, but AI has a growing role in many other ways as well. This includes patient selection, digital pathology, medical image analysis, intelligent manufacturing, digital therapeutics, automation, and much more. Special thanks to my colleague Eileen Brandenburger, PhD of Exscientia for helping me steer through the Life Science aspects that I am learning. AI has extended well beyond classical machine learning into generative AI, so some of the presentations at the conference addressed the different types of AI and how each type can be used.

Special thanks to Joseph R. Gallagher, Esq. of ACI for organizing the 2nd Annual Life Sciences AI Summit, and thanks to the New York City Bar Association for providing the facilities.
